I went to the Dr. because I have heart palpitations. I was tested for 48 hrs with "the holter moniter". I had various different episodes while on the monitor, including an episode @3am when my heart skipped beats and went from high 60's to @150bpm! I was sleeping at the time it happened.
My Dr. suggested that I ween myself off of caffiene to see if this helps. My question is:

If I need to ween myself off of caffiene in order to have a regular heart beat, is there an underlying condition I might have or is this a reaction to the caffiene? If I have palpitations due to caffiene, does that mean my heart is actually weak?

Can dramatic loss of weight due to anorexia cause a sinus tachycardia type arrythmia?

I lost my appetite due to anxiety and basically just did not eat for about 8 weeks apart from the odd bite of someting here and there. I'm eating normally now.

I developed high blood pressure and sinus tachycardia with normal blood levels. It was blamed on stress and anxiety, possibly chronic fatigue as i get a lot of pain and neuro symptoms too. It all started when I had post natal depression.

Now I am on beta blockers to try and control my arrythmia and high blood pressure, though they don't always work, could the cause of the heart probs be the not eating or could it just be the constant stress?

Can high blood pressure caused by stress result in a constant sinus tachycardia? Or is it the other way round?

In April I was diagnosed with Sinus Tachycardia with a very high blood pressure. I am on beta blockers now but it doesn't always work, my blood pressure can fluctuate but my heart rate can still race.

I also get anxiety alongside some Chronic Fatigue like symptoms (tingling, pins and needles, visual probs, muscle pain etc)

Also, can constant anxiety cause chronic sinus tachycardia?

(I've been tested blood wise and they only conclusion the doctor has is either chronic faituge syndrome or anxiety or both)

I started getting heart palpatations shortly after using Mega-T diet pills. I stopped t hem because I was uncomfortable with the feeling of my heart freaking out on me.

They still happen about 4 times every day. Is it true caffeine could cause this? I drink about 3 cans of Pepsi every day.

Help!

I am 20 yrs old and in college. I am 5'6" and weigh just under 150 lbs. I was an athlete all through high school and still have the same build i had in high school. to my knowledge i have no family history of heart disease. my diet isn't perfect but not terrible either. i frequently have chest pains both in the middle and left side of my chest. they come and go quickly and are very sharp. they dont usually occur after meals so i think that rules out acid reflux and heart burn, but im not a Dr. so im not %100. I just recently ended a long term relationship and think maybe its stress related altho it has been occuring even b4 that. Also, incase i didnt mention, i am a white male. What could this pain be?

Do you think when someone is invisioning a door, that it is "The Door," and maybe she is dying? She has been on dialysis for 4 yrs. and went in last week for a congestive heart failure that they were able to stablize. Tonight she was talking about a door and wanted us to open it. We asked who was on the other side and she said, her mother. Of course her mom has been dead for 21 yrs.

What do you think? I am very spiritual so I don't see any other conclusion.
