I started getting heart palpatations shortly after using Mega-T diet pills. I stopped t hem because I was uncomfortable with the feeling of my heart freaking out on me.

They still happen about 4 times every day. Is it true caffeine could cause this? I drink about 3 cans of Pepsi every day.

Help!

All of the things you mentioned could be contributing factors. I had a smiliar problem but it ceased as soon as I changed jobs, (the one I was in was very high stress). Light exercise will also help alleviate this problem. If I were you I'd lay off the Pepsi...or at least swith to caffeine free, walk around the block a couple of times a day and evaluate the stress in you life. This should give you a sense of its cause. If you go to a doctor they will stap on a heart monitor that records the irregular heartbeats and you will have to take it back in for them to get the readings. I went through that process but in the end adjusting the factors that were within my control solved the problem.

First, I.m glad you stopped taking the diet pills. VERY DANGEROUS!!! Caffeine can cause heart palpitations. Switch to caffeine free Pepsi and I'm sure you'll start to feel better.
God Bless!!!
