My dad has cancer in his lymph node in the neck. After having a pet scan, the doctors said there were a few hot spots in his lungs which could mean metastatic lung cancer - or it could be scarring from a previous lung infection he had many years ago. Anyway, the actual question is - recently, we discovered a couple of small lumps (approx 5) a few on his back/shoulders and one on the other side of his neck. They look a bit like small boils, except with no head..and they are quite hard, and obviously sore if you push on them. I can't find anywhere on the internet if they could be cancer...can anyone help? Thanks

My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. I heard that only women in their 40s can have breast cancer, is this true?
I'm 18.

I am 28, and have a few hard masses in my breast. The doc said that I have a lot of tissue and lympnodes & they don't see anything cancerous (good thing) but then said I should maybe see a breast surgeon. Why?
Also does having alot of lympnodes or tissue affect anything?

If you find a lump, it could be Penile-cancer. Cancer of the Penis! In its early stages, can be treated, in advanced stages, the Penis has to be amputated!
This is not a joke, was given 30 minutes airtime on the news this week! Apparently it is partly caused by not washing the penis regularly, so guys "rollback" & ensure regular washing and powdering of the organ. Thats my "doctor" bit for today! merely concerned about some of lifes pleasures that we take for granted.

I wake up many mornings with slight 'Skin Irritations' on my right Thigh area from sleeping on One Side all night. Can not sleep on my back, stomach or my right side at all.

But I'm afraid if I let this 'Irritation' persist morning after morning. Week after week. Month after month......one of these years, my Thigh Irritatates could turn Deep-Under-the-Skin Cancer if I don't stop it.
Yes. My bed is Softened with a Foam under neith but still wake up Sore.

and I don't have the courage to say goodbye. The doctor told us to say whatever we have to say while she is still alert, but I can't do it. I 'm in denial. I can't sleep, I haven't been to work in a week, but I am eating like there is no tomorrow. I'm on antidepressants, anti-anxiety and migraine medication. The only thing that helps me is going out w/my friends and drinking and partying. I feel guilty having a good time but it's the only thing I have energy for. I can't imagine my life without her and hope someone out there who has gone through this can give me words of encouragement.

A friend had recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. It is in a position which makes it impossible to remove by surgery.
Also it is on the outside of his lung. They have taken a biopsy to find out what type of cancer it is, but we will not find out the results for a while.
Can you survive lung cancer? What is the likelihood of treatment working? Has anyone heard of this type of lung cancer (on the outside) or has anyone you know suffered from it?
Any advice?

I'm really afraid of cancer because I watched my grandpa slowly and painfully die from it. I believe he had prostate cancer.
I was doing some research on cancers and learning how to prevent it and learned that pancreatic cancer is usualy always caught in a late stage and is untreatable. Are there any ways I can prevent pancreatic cancer, or any cancer for that fact, and some signs and symptoms of early stage? Also, how are some ways to get checked for it?
I don't smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol, or do any drugs. I have a mixed diet of high-fat foods and I eat fruits and vegetables and other healthy foods too. I am not overweight and I'm not sure if I have diabetes. Can smoking a few cigarettes and then stopping give you the same chance of getting cancer as someone who smokes all the time for years?

I have been diagnosed,

I've had a biopsy, and I've gone through the surgery.

I wasn't given a specific level of where my cancer was at... they showed me a chart of normal, not normal, and the stages beyond.

I was at 2 of not normal. The Dr said that there is a good chance that through the surgery I could be cured. But I have to wait until December to go back and get tested again at the hospital.

When you read on the internet, all you hear is best and worst case senerios. What is the true outlook for someone like me?
