he has two (and more) types of cancer in his body...and i am afraid. He can die any minute, is what doctors say and he is very weak. When he eats, he tastes nothing, when he walks it looks like one of his legs is detached and when he speaks, his tongue and throat gets swelled up. My hair is growing back and i dont know if i should give it any special treatments or just shampoo/condition and wait till it grows to the proper lenght so I can go and have a nice haircut and a new style.

I had a spot the size of a quarter on my neck removed. The Dermotologist said that it was possiable Basal Cell Cancer. My tests haven't come back yet, but my question is can you still enjoy being out doors for extended periods of time (over an hour) with proper SPF coverage after having skin cancer?

when my grandmother was diagnosed of cancer, the doctor warned our family that women may also get it because it is hereditary,most esp my aunties because they are the daughters(direct contact?).They should have themselves checked up for early detection.
I'm just wondering if I'l stil get the disease with the way I'm related w/ my grandma...My father is my grandma's son..

Her co-workers have already gotten a cleaning service. I don't know about what your appettite is after chemo for meals and I know that she's wiped out for days after treatment. I really want to do something that would be helpful, not just flowers. Please help me brainstorm!!!! She's in her 50's.

A friend in my class was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and he's been through 2 surgeries in 2 weeks. Plus he's been through cemo-therapy like 3 times now. And he won't be coming to school during the fall because he has more cemo-therapy! How can I help him? Oh and he's one of my friends.

I have prostate cancer and my treatment is: Hormone Therapy and External Beam Radiation. Is my blood OK to use for what ever purposes blood banks use it?

I can't help any other way at the moment and wish to continue helping others. Prior to my cancer I would do volunteer work. Now I am too tired to do the physical work I used to do. Even driving my car has been too much.

my grandma has luekemia and she has only 1 gram of blood left in her body! would this be bad or could she recover by eating a lot of fruit and veges and alot of iron? or it that she could die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
