I had a spot the size of a quarter on my neck removed. The Dermotologist said that it was possiable Basal Cell Cancer. My tests haven't come back yet, but my question is can you still enjoy being out doors for extended periods of time (over an hour) with proper SPF coverage after having skin cancer?

For the right amount of time yes, i suggest you wear spf 50+ on that area. And, i also suggest you do not spend TO much time RIGHT in front of the sun. Spend at most an hour. More if your a dare devil. If you stay out for more than 2 hours with that area right in the sun even if its protected you could risk getting cancer again. You can stay out for long periods of time but not every day (you know what i mean) i hope this helped!

You can enjoy yourself but for small amounts of time and with proper protection from the sun. I had a malignant melanoma removed about 2 years ago. I occasionally go to theme parks, the beach, the park, etc. but I have to take many indoor or shaded breaks. It's not worth the risk to stay in the sun all day.

Yes, but I wouldn't be out more than an hour at a time, and keep renewing the SPF.
