Being that it grew this fast to be this detectable, ie 11/14 nodes affected, in this amount of time, when did it actually begin? Do cancers start 20 years before or 7 years before they are detected? How would one figure out when this cancer started to start to figure out how a person got it?

Stpped smoking when i was 28 got smashed last nite and had 3 cigarettes god knows why. Feel terrible> Have i undone all the good work. if i get lung cancer will it be from those 3 ill fated fags?

one of my close reletives is dying from cancer and I don't even know what to do. I keep thinking the phone is going to ring and say he passed awa. I have faith in my God but if we loose him I don't think i will be able to believe that he/she/it even exists.

My mom just said that she found a hard lump in her breast. She thinks it may be cancer and is going to the doctor tomorrow, but what's weird is she said there was a big bruise there about a week ago, but she doesn't know where it came from? Don't tell me she should go to the Dr. because she is. But what do you think?

Mom had surgery in August for stage 3 ovarian cancer (took out everything including part of her intestines, part of colon, spleen, lymph nodes). Still has pain to this day (every two hours) and dr said (from ct and contrast) that it is a bowel blockage from the cancer. But even after two treatments, still has pain and blockage....could it actually be from the surgery? I would assume they would know the difference but I'm just worried.

I have had a lump under my armpit, about pea size for almost 2 years. One doctor I went to told me that it was a clogged oil duct? Said to use a hot washcloth for a couple of days and it should start to "melt" and thin out....then go away. I do it for a couple of days and then forget to do it anymore....he is the same doctor that told me I havent had my period in almost a year because I'm too fat. Anyhow, I have no insurance and that is the main reason I havent gone to a doctor.....does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
