rmy stupid brither in law smokes around my 7month old niece, nows shes in hospital with phomnia,broncitius,and gastro enteritous

It can cause a lot of bad things I am not sure what but it is definitely BAD!

For Heavens sake what is he doing smoking near a baby anyway, regardless of the substance. That poor little mite is in for a lot more trouble unless he stops right now. I hope she gets better really soon and my thoughts are with you. Heres hoping you have a happy Christmas.xx

I smoke (cigarettes) but always outside. I would never have my children in a smoke filled room. Yes it can cause problems with the health of his baby. I see it as child abuse. It makes me so mad that people have children and abuse them in this way. It's not difficult to open a door and smoke outside.

no one should ever smoke anything around a baby , it couldve contributed to her illness yes. smoking around baby can also cause glue ear, asthma,any number of things

I would tell the hospital about him ,so they can treat the baby properly,they might wonder about the cause of her illness >
He should be severely reprimanded , it is absolutely child abuse !

Yes it can cause many problems in babies and it can cause a severe case of incarceration in adults.

wow that is probobly the cause thats neglect !! i have a chuff and i ALWAYS go in the back yard,NEVER around the kids.... come rain or shine.....horrible man exposing his kid to drugs

YES YES YES DOPE IN " AND ARROUND ANY CHILRDEN CAN " AND WILL " CAUSE BRAINE DAMAGED.
THEY GET IT IN THERE POURS, AND BREATH THAT ROTTEN STUFF.BEST THING TO DO IS SAY NO TO ALL DRUGS, AND BE SAFE.
