anywhere I look on the internet, it says allergic reaction promotes red bumps, not white. I gave him Benadryl and rubbed cortisol cream over his body which doesn't seem to help much...any suggestion before I fork the hundreds of dollars to go to ER or urgent care?

when i was little, i wasn't allergic to pets at all, because i had a cat and i always played with my neighbor's dog. but years later, i've started to have allergic reactions to one of my other friend's pets, because i haven't been near them for a long time. but if i get used to being around pets again, will the allergies that i developed go away?

I have severe dust allergies. Most medication I have tired don't work so the only thing I can do is to try and stop the allegen. I can either get the carpet professionally steam to kill dust mites or I could get a dehumidifier and try to ruin the dust mites' living enviornment. My home has a 63% humidity level currently. Which should I do?

I am allergic to wasps, bees, hornets, fire ants, ect. I never knew this until about less than a week ago. I got stung by a wasp, or hornet, I don't know which, and I went to the hopital with tons of hives. It was bad. The doctor said if I get stung by another again I might faint. I've been stung by fire ants, as many kids have, and I just have been stung by wasps twice. I'm 11 going on 12. Is it normal to find out this late? Or for it to be that bad on my first reaction? Or what? Is this all normal? I don't know and I wanted to know. Please... please answer.

The old tenant will be moving out and removing all the furniture and there is hardwood flooring throughout the apartment. I am really allergic to cats and do not want to sign a year lease if I will have a reaction and not be able to live there. It is an amazing apartment at a great price.

I suffer from hayfever. I was taking tablets earlier this year, but stopped as my hayfever got better. I was sat on the couch watching TV after having sum dinner today, and suddenly my eyes become swollen, sore and itchy, it looked like i had been punched in the face, I took some anti-hayfever and they helped. My eyes are just easing now, but they were really bad, and oozing. Heres what they looked like -

Why did this happen so suddenly and severe?

Alright, so, for probably about the last week or so, I've had what I think is a horrible sinus infection. Every 5 seconds, I'm hacking and spitting up post-nasal drip. I hardly have to blow my nose. The back of my throat hurts (not like strep throat-hurt, and not raw from spitting), but just on the left side (feels like a swollen lump below my jaw). I haven't felt any sinus pressure, or had any pain in my face/head/head aches, but am constantly spitting up post-nasal. And here's the worst part (to me anyway)... every 10-12 times that I hack up and spit, large (almost the size of a dime), hard pieces of mucous come out.. you know, the one's that make you gag when you feel it come out from the back of your nose-throat when you hack em' up (what exactly are those, anyway?). One looked like the shape of my nasal cavity... weird. Anyway, is this just a horribly aweful, night-mare-ish sinus infection? And, how can I take care of it? Please, serious replies only. Thanks Everyone!

I love cats, but I have an allergic reaction to them. I get hayfeverish, my eyes go puffy and water, my nose runs, and my skin gets itchy and red. I have tried most over-the-counter hayfever/allergy products, however they don't seem to work very well for me. My question is, does anyone know of any other solution, or a prescription product my doctor might be able to prescribe, so that I can spend more time with my precious feline?

I have a 9 carat, white gold, rhodium-plated engagement ring and it has begun to irritate my finger and bring it out in a rash. I knew that I was allergic to base metal like nickel, or cheap jewellery, but this is gold! any ideas? - my fiance is understandably very upset that I can't wear my ring!

I am allergic to shrimp and am absolutely terrified of eating out because of it. I am scared of there possibly being cross contamination in the food I eat, and of people eating shellfish and touching me.
I don't remember a time when I didn't have this allergy, but as I get older, I have become even more paranoid about it.

I don't know how to cope with this. Any help please?
