anywhere I look on the internet, it says allergic reaction promotes red bumps, not white. I gave him Benadryl and rubbed cortisol cream over his body which doesn't seem to help much...any suggestion before I fork the hundreds of dollars to go to ER or urgent care?

The harmless types of rashes that my son got cleared up within a couple of hours with Benadryl. If the Benadryl is having no effect you may need to take him in. Does your doctors office have a message service where they'll call you back on off-hours? That's saved me a few trips to the ER. You could also call Ask-A-Nurse, 1 (800) 888-5551.

My daughter had this last year. It is not contagious, but take up to a year for them to all disappear. Nothing to worry about my paediatrician said. Hope these websites help.
