I've had HPV for a long time and have done extensive reasearch on the virus, treatments, etc... It amazes me the people that will give advice and not know all the facts. I am especially suprised to see people give advice on HPV when in their "advice" they are clearly describing Herpes. Why are these two diseases lumped together so often?

To give someone advice that HPV will "go away," is not a virus, can simply be treated with a topical cream, etc... is OUTRAGEOUS. Men have a far less fear of HPV than women do. On that note, I can only suggest that women take control of a situation and contact their doctor immediately when a noticeable change occurs and they do not know why. DO NOT PLAY WITH FATE OR IGNORANCE.

IS there anyone else frustrated over the amount of people giving inaccurate advice on this subject???? Especially when you see someone's response as the VOTED #1 and it's clearly inacurrate?

I have HPV and am dealing with a new outbreak of genital warts. This is not the first time this has happened, however it has been a while since the last outbreak.

I have used all the normal medical procedures in the past; cryo, acid, aldara and would like to know if there is a homeopathic or natural remedy that would work? I used one in the past with AMAZING results but cannot find that company any longer (it's been several years).

I would rather no use the medical treatments d/t the amount of discomfort and pain involved with those treatments. The natural remedy I used before was completely pain free.

Just wondering if anyone knows of natural remedy that works.

I woke in the middle of the night and under my arm was on fire! I could never locate the actual bite, but under my arm and a little ways down my side was very red and burning like sunburn. It wasn't really swollen much, just inflamed. It hurt really bad for several days & then started to feel almost scaley like snakeskin. Then, just like sunburn, it peeled but very thin - just like snake skin. I never did find any dead spiders or bugs. A Park Ranger said he thought it might have been a spider & gave me some stuff out of his first aid kit. Now, almost two weeks later it still feels a little itchy & my skin looks darker there. Does anyone have any knowledge that might lead to me finding out what could have bit me? Thanks.

I have a bizzare red patch on my skin, it is not like any rash i have had before. It does not itch, it is not flaky, it is not scaly or dry, it is perfectly smooth and feels like the rest of my skin whenever i touch it, but it is still red. Sometimes it fades but it always seems to come back. It is only in one area of my face and it is on the area at the edge of my nostrils and continues down to the edge of my mouth. What do I do?

RIGHT NOW...I am super tired, a low grade fever of 100.2.
Every so often, I get this attacks at my left chest (where the heart is). Stabbing pains. And I cringe everytime, but know they will go away. A few minutes ago, I got the biggest pain in my chest ive felt yet. I have been having these stabbing sessions (not literally) for a few weeks now. Today was much worse than usual. I do not know if it is my eating habits...I have a clogged artery...or clot in the lungs. Last week (and 10 days ago)...I was having pains in my front sides (right under my rib cage). And every now and then I have a sharp pain in my left I was hoping it would go away...and it did for a few days...but now i have a fever.

Any ideas on what I am at battle with?
I'm 22 yr old male. 125lbs. 5'6" Moderatly active.

I dont understand this virus. It seems nor do a lot of other people. I have gone on the internet, library and talk to help care providers. This virus can be so MANY different things. It can be warts on hands, feet, other parts of the body and genital. It can cause abnormalities to cells in the cervix and cause cancer. This virus connects to you DNA and or rDNA. If it is connected to you dna dont you already pass it down to your child? Why does no one really know about this STD!? It is just as important. They say its not that important unless it is cancer. Well we dont want it to lead to caner, RIGHT? I have found that some say "hpv" can go away on its own, Not genital warts(but genital warts is hpv, it doesnt make sense to me). If you have abnormal cells than that is the only way it can go away on it own. If you diet, excercise and do all this healthy things, but ONLY for the abnormal cells. IS THAT TRUE?

I have been having severe pains in both my legs for years now, it hurts to even walk sometimes, and the Dr's that I've seen before all looked at me like I was crazy when I described my ailment, so I waited till I came stateside and went to more Dr's I've seen a podiatrist, had tons of bloodwork done and x-rays, and they don't know what's going on so they're sending me to a rheumatologist, I just don't like going into a situation without knowing what to expect. Any experiences would be helpful. Thanks
