I am doing a serious strength training routine. However, I also want to do cardio to keep my heart strong. How will running or doing other cardio such as elliptical or bike affect my strength training and hypertrophy? When is it best to do cardio without losing gains in muscle (including legs)? Thanks!

My diabetic father, who passed away two days ago was suffering from stroke. Recently he was having fits and ended up with his left leg and arm fully paralized, not able to talk and hallucinating. While in hospital, seeing that he was deteriorating by the minute, seeing no response and his sugar level going up even though they gave him insulin, I begged the doctor to remove the plug and not let him suffer any more. 15 minutes later he passed away. Do you think I did right?

I normally don't touch the stuff, but decided to try it. I had a couple (literately 2) of hits on sunday night, and surprisingly had a urine test 4 days later; this past thursday actually. Since I'm not a regular or casual user, how long will it last in my system? I have some uncertainties about my results...Thanks!

I've had 13 teeth pulled this year in the process of getting full dentures.have 12 left to get pulled in one morning...and getting immediate full dentures....do you have any advice or tips on going through this ordeal..? Any pros and cons you know of with dentures...?

I've been taking 1-3 .5mg of xanax everyday for about a week. The doctor didn't give me anymore, so I didn't take one today. Can you get addicted to xanax from that small of a dose in that length of time? I have bad anxiety, my stomach is about upset and my body feels a bit weird. I don't know if that is the lack of the xanax or me getting worked up and worrying about the whole thing...?

I am concerned about meningitis. A girl in my class works with a girl who is in the hospital with meningitis. She hasn't seen her for a few weeks, but she was complaining of a headache and feeling sick today. I am afraid to be near her because of meningitis. What are the chances she could spread it even if she doesn't have it? I have had a headache on and off for the past two weeks, but now I am starting to get worried about meningitis. I knolw the symptoms, stiff neck, severe headache, rash, vomiting, but is it possible to have it without these symptoms? Anyone know more about meningitis?

When I was almost 3 I had to have all my teeth pulled out cuz they were so rotten. I don't remember that, but I do remeber I had no teeth til I was in 3rd grade. When my adult teeth came in they were already rotten. I don't have any enamel on my teeth and they were never very white. They're more a sort of a brownish yellow, with dark brown places and holes in them. Pieces break off a lot and I had to have a lot of my back teeth pulled out already. What I have left is falling apart. I want to just have them all pulled out, but the dentist I went to said he wouldn't do it cuz I'm only 12 and they can be saved but it will cost a lot. I'd rather go toothless like before than be stuck with ugly teeth that are always breaking, or sit thru alot of work. Besides my mom said it will cost almost as much as our house and we can't afford it. My mom had all her teeth pulled out and she got fake teeth when she was in high school. I'd rather do that too, or just stay toothless like I was before.
