Video & Online Games - December 2007

I'm considering getting the PS3 but I don't have a flat screen. Can I still appreciate the PS3 or should I wait it out, and get a flatscreen and PS3? Also I heard that if you get the 80G you are then able to play your PS2 games on their as well.
Please advise.

Isn't there a game that comes with a gun? Like a western or something? I can't find anything like it but know they used to make one.

is obl:goty that much better than norm obl?cuz i can get normal obl for a 3rd of the price of obl:goty.so i can buy 2 games(norm obl,other) insted of 1(obl:goty).normal obl is already 150plus hours and huge.is the xtra content a MUST?how many xtra hours?

I found my old Myst game looking through some old stuff anyway I can't seem to install it on my computer. I tried once and got this message that said memory could not be read. I heard somewhere to try installing without QT so I did that but then the game froze about an hour into it. So now I'm trying to re-install it and I'm getting the same "memory could not be 'read' " error message? Any ideas?

My games are glitching like crazy. Like in Illusions of Gaia at the first boss he doesn't appear. There are many other annoyances and I think a simple cleaning will help. However I am accepting other advice also.

okay im looking for a good RPG game something thats not SUPER old would be better. I am looking for games like Final Fantasy before they changed like how the older ones were. and like Suikoden. I liked kingdom hearts because of the story but i didnt like the way you battle, i like it more when u give commands. Can anyone help me? Thank you so much.

I have played a lot of online games, eaven world of warcraft. But there seem that all online games doesent have an end. So you can just play and play, but never get finish. So, is it a waste of time to play online, or should i maybe play roleplaying based games. I'm 15 so i just think about i will move out about like 8 years or so i think..not quite sure. Therefore i think that i will never finish an online game annyway, get to the highest lv and etc. Anny ideas?

Gamestop has PSIIs for $80, refurbished. Is this a good price for a used machine? I know they're still making games for PSII, but for how long? I basically just want to play Guitar Hero.

I bought the Sims 2 pets, but it won't install because I need the regular Sims 2 first. I think there is a certain order you need to install them in to make them all work. I have Sims pets 2. I need to know what order the Sims 2 expansion packs go in. Thank you.

ok thers metence today...all severs are down im extrermly bored... i did my school and i need to know when matenice is done its really annoying wating like 5-10 hours fot tehm to finsh :/ and i need ot knwo what there doing cuz im not waitng 5-10 hours for a "fixed high lvl quest thats not for my class"

I just started playing WoW not to long ago and am now lvl 62 and wanting to learn more about end game raiding and heroic dungeons.

Is there a website anyone can recommend that talks about a few different aspects of this? I really do not know anything about this as I have only been playing with friends or solo. I would like to learn what exactly raids are and what I can expect, (not so much what I can expect from a guild or raid group, but the dungeons/places/bosses etc) good examples of raiding gear/weapons (so I can start obtaining now) and any other info that someone as new as me may need.

I've quite recently bought the The Sims 2 and the University expansion pack, and become completely hooked. I'm considering getting the other expansion packs (nightlife, open for business and pets. Possibly Seasons, but not really sure if it appeals to me!), but I'm not sure if my computer will be able to run the game with all the expansion packs.

Does anyone know the minimum systems requirements for running the game plus add ons without it running slow/freezing, etc?
