Gamestop has PSIIs for $80, refurbished. Is this a good price for a used machine? I know they're still making games for PSII, but for how long? I basically just want to play Guitar Hero.

I played Guitar Hero III last night for the first time (at Circuit City) and it was love at first play. . . so now I'm just trying to find the cheapest way to play it at home. I might just get a used PSII and Guitar Hero II instead of III.

You should get the Slim version it's 10 dollars more then what you want and it's also refurbished I'm getting one for Christmas but not because of Guitar Hero it's because I want Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 but Guitar Hero is good no matter witch one it is so I suggest that you get it

if you do get the ps2 which is a pretty good deal you can buy them new for only a lil more. but guitar hero 3 is also out on ps2 so there is no real need to blow all that money on the ps3 especially since u only seem interested in guitar hero

Yeah its worth it. It will work the same as a new PS2. I bought a PS3 refurbished controller and it works like new. So go for it.

yes,most of the ps2 games are classic and the ps3 isn't worth the money yet..id definitely buy it along with a copy of final fantasy 10 and devil may cry,if graphics aren't as important as gameplay id definitely buy a ps2 it was and still is one of the greatest consoles in history..i say this even after owning a gamecube and and xbox360 anyway yeah its definitely worth it

hmm It’s ok but I would look around in ebay and craigslist (and maybe even pawn shops) first… if also you’re going to buy Guitar Hero then the whole might come close to 200 bucks

Yeah, good proice. Come with any accessories and games? I've bought systems just to play one game too. I bought the Wii just to play Zelda. I recommend buying it, playing what you want, then selling it on Ebay. You'll get most of your bucks back.

no just get a ps3 cuz all the new games r comin out 4 the ps3 and not the ps2
plus they reduced the price

IF you have a HD tv then buy the PS3, it is well worth the money, if you do not have one, it is up for grabs then....
