I just started playing WoW not to long ago and am now lvl 62 and wanting to learn more about end game raiding and heroic dungeons.

Is there a website anyone can recommend that talks about a few different aspects of this? I really do not know anything about this as I have only been playing with friends or solo. I would like to learn what exactly raids are and what I can expect, (not so much what I can expect from a guild or raid group, but the dungeons/places/bosses etc) good examples of raiding gear/weapons (so I can start obtaining now) and any other info that someone as new as me may need.

thanks for your help

A fabulous website for loot is Kaliban's: http://www.wow-loot.com -- It shows all the loot from all the dungeons (in Outland and older), who drops it, and it's classified by class, so you can look up a beast mastery hunter and see what gear is good for you.

End game raiding is probably going to require you to be in an end game raiding guild; getting a PuG of 40 players is nearly impossible, not to mention that most of those 40 players aren't going to have a clue of what they're doing. If you want to do all the end game stuff, find yourself a guild first. They can guide you through. Primarily, you need to know how to play your class - and play it well. Show that you are useful and you'll be all right.

You can read about different dungeons on http://wowwiki.com - they show you bosses and link to maps as well.

A raid is a 10 or 25 guy occasion that's extremely confusing and demands a fabulous variety of coordination between every person in the raid. There are 3 roles that must be crammed for a raid: Tank: Plate wearer or undergo Druid with a lot of stamina and severe protection score. whilst combating mobs and executives the tank will concentration all injury directly to them. A martyr in fact. Healer: Heals the Tank and every person else in the raid that takes injury. DPS: injury sellers. they are people who take down the bosses wellness. What ever you do, dont start up a guild. connect an already favourite guild. a stable guild has a fabulous variety of folk to call on for raids and raids frequently. while you're approximately to get to 80 right it incredibly is what you may desire to do to make your self extra beautiful for a guild. Do the Argent adventure in north eastern Ice Crown. you will make money and earn champions logos which will properly be traded in for respectable kit. additionally run point heroics. From there you may get some kit yet maximum heavily you will get Conquerors logos which will properly be traded in for good kit in Dalaran.
