They're both very different games. Mass Effect is an action rpg. Halo is an action shooter. In their own ways, both are good games.

Halo. I thought the videos looked awesome for Mass Effect, but it was a real let down when I rented it. Halo is really hard to beat.

mass effect has a long and fun singleplayer and halo has an addictive and fun multiplayer mode.

The are totally different types of games. It depends on what type of game you prefer.
