I'm considering getting the PS3 but I don't have a flat screen. Can I still appreciate the PS3 or should I wait it out, and get a flatscreen and PS3? Also I heard that if you get the 80G you are then able to play your PS2 games on their as well.
Please advise.

I think that you will still be able to appreciate the PS3 without a flatscreen t.v. I don't have a flatscreen t.v. yet, and the picture still looks awesome, especially with the component cables.

Really, to get the most out of the PS3 and get the full PS3 experience you should get a HDTV, but a non-HDTV is fine because you can tell a really big difference in the graphics from PS2 games and PS3 games even if you don't have a flatscreen or HDTV.

you can definitely still enjoy next-gen consoles(PS3, xbox360, Wii) without an HD TV. The graphics will still be top notch, it just wont be used to its fullest potential, as it would be if you had an HDTV. If your looking to get blu ray, it wont be that much of a huge jump from DVD since its not pumping out the power it should be.
