Does anyone know of a book or classes that teach milliners how to make beautiful flowers to trim hats?

I searched the web and found one class in London. Are there resources in the United States? Chicago would be the best location for me, or a good book on the subject would help.

The coin is all in one peice. The condition is "good". It's a deep, bronzy color. The intricate design is very visible. It almost appears to have a soft silvery sheen when you twist it in the light. It says "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA". Any helpful information about this particular coin and it's value?

I bought a figurine made of resin, how do I alter it,
w/out the item crumbling apart?
Dissolve it? I'd rather remove it altogether than, cover it up;
it has a religious idol on it, which I absolutely abhor.
But, covering it up is ultimately better than leaving it as it is.

I'm a teenager who doesn't have much to fill her time with. I fence and play the bass. I've been baking, jogging, watching movies, learning some more Chinese, and reading. But...

I would like to start something that would be at least somewhat useful and wouldn't require a lot of money or too much time, just something to keep me occupied whenever and wherever I am (and preferably stop my mother from saying that I'm just lazing around).

I have a $1 bill and the ink on the front is much, much darker than I've ever seen before. I've showed it too some people and I've even got a couple comments about how it's a counterfeit because the ink is so dark and dense compared to normal bills. The back of the bill, however, is normal.

Would this "defect" make it worth anything? Is it considered defective or a collector's item in any way because of this abnormality or is this a relatively normal occurance?

it seems like a bunch of fooey to me - how much does the PCGS set registry matter.

Like if you put together the finest set of large cents and NCG certified the coins then it would'n't count? like it's crazy.
