I have a wood welcome sign that I have placed outside in my front yard, but the paint is starting to fade. What is the right kind of paint to use on wood crafts that is waterproof?

you can find at walmart, joanns and such, craft paints that are meant for lawn doo dads, it says on it water proof or enamels for outdoor use. not expensive, once its dry you can also coat the surface with a clear acrylic spray sealer,

Use any kind of paint that is labeled for outdoors, and coat it with polyurethane or other varnish that's also labeled for outdoors.

It depends on what's on it now. Either oil or acrylic would be fine.
