I can only tell you about the coin end of Mormon and Christian stuff. Mormon coins from the old west are very expensive due to their rarity. They are gold by the way. As for Christian coins or as they are more commonly called "coins of the bible" some are very expensive and some are not. The "Widows Mite" mentioned in the bible can be gad for $10 and up. Nice ones are around $19 or so. Unlike Christians who like to share the early christian coins with others, Mormons tend to keep the coins among themselves. As you notice I tend to separate the Mormons and Christians, for I don't consider Mormons Christians, but that is my opinion. The Mormon gold coins were made between 1849-1860 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Holiness To The Lord was an inscription frequently used. There are book on the subject as well as a book titled coins of the Bible. Living here in the North country of New Hampshire it is common to come across family bibles from the early 1800's at flea markets for $20, or less mostly much less. Antique stores tend to sell things for more money than they actually worth. Meet some people in your area and have them give you a ride to a local flea market or maybe hey will take you to yard sales. I live in a town of less than 600 registered voters and would help my neighbors if asked and have in the past. Good luck.

That is a good thing to do. If you want to see what Mormonism is about, then go for a 1st edition BOM or a reprint. That will be an eye opener. Get the Ossian Chronicles by James MacPherson and books like that. There is a good used book store in Morgantown PA that you should have a look at: Walter Amos, bookseller. There are thousands of books there and you can call and see if books are in stock.

I don't really know where you can get this stuff,specifically, check anique stores, garage sales and thrift shops. I did want to tell you, though, Mormons are christians. The official name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The definition of a christian is someone who follows the teachings of Christ and Mormons definitly do that.
