Is it illegal to use a used stamp (as a decoration) with enough new postage?

As long as you have paid the required postage ,I'll say it should be fine.

Put the used, decorative stamp on an envelope with no address on it. Put that envelope inside another envelope with the actual postage on it before you mail them both.

To avoid any problems, save your used stamp for a decoupage project. Maybe as part of a design on a card.

use it on the card not the envelope, the post office machine would pick it up and throw it out of the processing line.

i dont see why it would be illegal. it's your stamp.
