In my design class-each of us was given an adjective and asked to create a mask on top of the model we have- But the mask we make has to represent the adjective we got- the adjective I got was "nasty". I thought of creating it out of scrap materials like chains and broken glass- I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions for materials I could use to portray this "nasty" structure

Have pictures of miscellaneous "found" items, i.e. a hand tool, an ornate brass can, etc. Would like an idea of what they might be in order to research them further.

R. Kelly wore a funky pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses in his 'I'm a Flirt' video. I'm talking about the ones with some sort of textured lenses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2f3cuUXXRs

I know that celebrities often receive customized accessories but I've never seen anything like those. Does anyone know what is on the lenses? Are they Swarovski crystals? Rhinestones? Tiny lenses? Or did they simply shape the lenses in an unusual way? Do you think he can actually see through them? Here are some screen shots but it might be easier to see them by watching the video:

It seems like we took a tub of water and added a suspension agent (liquid starch maybe?) then squirted different colored acrylic paints into the liquid, briefly "swirled" through the liquid with a plastic spoon. Took the inflated baloon and dipped it into the liquid mixture and as you remove it, the "marbeled" mixture adheared to the baloon. I don't remember what the suspension agent is or ratio used.

I am working on a project to make some benches for my school. I would like to build them from the ground up. I am looking for some web sites or even stores (Home depot) that might have some parts for making benches. Do you know of any places or sites where I can get info on build and the MATERIALS need to make benches?

Any other info that you have on building benches would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I was going through my change and i found this quarter iv never seen before.

The picture is blurry because i took it with my cell phone, but ill explain it the best i can.

The front looks pretty normal, but the date says- 1776-1976
and the back is a soldier? i think playing a drum and it says E Pluribus Unum- and it doesnt have a state. Is it just the quarter of the USA or is it special or anything?

Why most of women dont understand or appreciate the value of vintage and classic cars, like if you want to restore one at home and your wife is daily complaining abut it beaing around and asking you to get rid of it and telling you instead of wasting money on your project buy a new car? why they dont understand for example the diffrence between an old great classic pontiac 1970 firebird and a new 2007 Toyota Yaris? my wife openion is the Yaris worth the money you pay and is the real car and the Firebird is a piece of junk, I wonder ???
