What should I use to send it without having to bend it? It's also very difficult to roll like a poster.

As long as it's no more than about 60 inches across, you can mail it flat if you want to make a "case" for it out of cardboard, then wrap that in newspapers and make a 2nd case over that. Just use lots of packing tape.

anything that big must be rolled up and in a tube.

If you take it to a machine shop where they work on metal, ask them to run it through a slip roller ( protect the surface of the poster) It is what they use to bend metal into a c shape so it will bend paper or cardboard.

The post office has tubes to mail in. See if they have one the right size.
