About $3-$4 in perfect mint condition. Proof would be worth a lot more.

The 1985 Kennedy half is not a scarce coin and trends for $4 in a low mint state grade to around $6 in a mid mint state grade. A trend value is usually a little high, for dealers like to go under it. So a dealer would pay say 50 % or so less than the above prices. if it is a nice coin, it would be worth holding on to.It used to be 1/2 dollars were to expensive to collect for the average collector, but these days you don't get much for a 1/2 dollar anymore, so might as well tie it up in a coin album. The Kennedy 1/2 dollars have been going up in price, due to more people collecting them. Your coin due to it mintage, is one of those, no one saved in quantity or quality, it has no place to go but up, especially if it is mint state.

You could try pcgs.com for general idea of their value. I have always thought the prices quoted here were a little on the high side.
