Or how do I mark on stainless steel? I want to draw or paint or 'carve' freehand designs unto a stainless steel bowl. Is it possible?

Otherwise, what sort of paints should I use for stainless steel /glass / porcelain bowls?

I'd like your opinion or tips on this. It will be part of a present with many handmade gifts for someone important.

Please help. (: Thanks!

Does anyone know about any antique spoons with the initials M.A.R. ? I've looked everywhere about antique spoons and there are nothing that shows me who M.A.R. could possibly be. I have a spoon with unique engravings that has 1891 in the front and M.A.R. engraved on the back. Any help would be appreciated.

I am a beginner so I went with a simplicity pattern (6687C) for a newborn. After I cut out my pattern the front neckline I noticed there were dashed lines in the middle of the material that said stich line. Since it was a square neckline I am a little lost on how to do that stich thing and hem it at the same time.

I collect antique coins and I found an 1888 inidian head penny and I was wondering if there were any sites that I can either look that up or contact a coin dealer and they can give me an idea of its value.

It came in a large set of tools, mostly drills amd items to be used in a power drill. It is gray plastic, tubular, 1 1/8 inch long and slightly tapered. It nas a spring inside located in the smaller half of the tube. Just inside the smaller end is a circular washer the inside of which is stellate. Does anyone know what it is and how to use it? Adjacent to the place in the slot it was held in it says "screw locator"

My mom wants to frame hers and put it on the wall. Is there a special glue that goes on the surface, or on the back to stick it to the frame?

Does anybody have one of these? I want to buy one, but want to be sure of the price. I bid on eBay for one at about $85. Feedback would be great. I went to popular scrapbooking message boards, but it is soooo overwhelming, and I can't find threads on it. THought I'd try here. Thanks!

If you've wrapped a present, I'm sure once or twice you've seen someone take scissors and slide them over the ribbon to make it into a nice little curl. Why does running stuff across ribbon make it curl up?

I have a ton of pictures and would really like to start scrapbooking. But I have no clue where to begin! What are the basic materials I need to start with. I know this can be an expensive hobby, any websites that I can buy the materials cheap? What stores have you found that carry the widest assortment of scrapbooking supplies? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
