I am trying to make this scarf: http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTbranchingout.html
This i smy first lace project. But I'm having trouble since the rows have different numbers. I started by casting on 25 stitches and followed the pattern instructions. But when I reached the top row of the charted lace pattern, I complete the pattern and am left with 5 remaining stitches. I know that I am supposed to knit the last three, but what about the two that are in between? The pattern is symmetrical so I don't know what to do. I also tried to redo the row and added one knitt in the beginning of the charted row and one at the end. And this worked for a bit, but when I started bottom of the charted pattern again, I had too many stitches and so I decide to undo the whole thing. I have started again but I am determined. If anyone could help me figure this out and explain it to me, that would be very helpful. THanks

I need to find the cheapest bulk sea glass, decorative gems and marbles, glass stones or something of that sort. I need pink (not pale pink, hot pink or fuschia) and green ( a limeish colored, not dark) for wedding decorations. I have about 10 large vases that I want to put alternating layers of pink and green and artificial flowers will go in those....the I have about 20-25 small votive candle holders that I want to put more gems or whatever in them to hold candles. I need quite a bit so if anyone knows any good websites for buying this stuff in bulk it would be very helpful...I've searched for websites without much luck and anything I find on ebay, there is not enough product; I need big bags of this stuff! Thanks!

If you like to read Harry Potter books, like me, does anybody say anything negative about it? Most people think that people who love to read and get good grades are geeks. What's so wrong about learning?

I go in the normal way, choose the level I want to play, then either hit 'play now' or choose a room and I keep getting sent to a screen promoting Wii. It then starts to cycle through the games choices and I can pick Literati again but it doesn't work that way either. I don't want to play Wii! Any help?

I've found some beautiful Christmas cards saved over the years I can't bear to part with. Can anyone give me some ideas for making something from them, something to enjoy every year instead of putting them in a box hidden away? Thanks for any suggestions you can think of!

My buddy has been telling me that this is a "really cool" hobby to get into. I asked him if any women are involved or if it's just a bunch of dudes playing with trains? I don't think my lady would be too happy with me getting involved in this hobby if it is just a male thing. Are there any tips you have for getting the women involved??? (note: It doesn't help that she finds my "railroading" buddy weird and nerdy) Thanks in advance
