I recently purchased a 1/18 scale diecast car (a Jeep Grand Wagoneer), and it has sparked my interest in collecting 1/18 scale cars. I'm not sure where to begin. In terms of value, what should I look for? Any specific models to watch? What about pricing guides--are there any out there?

I've got a couple of garments made with tencel and I'm wondering if it's a natural fiber or not, I'd like to dye one of them.

Hi does anyone have any tips for how I can go about this?

Glue? Or sellotape?
Glue is easier but soaks the newspaper and there are so many different kinds, some don't stick at all!
The newspaper will begin to fade so maybe it would be better with some sort of laminated thing over it. How could I do that besides getting those plastic folders?

What size would be best for the book? Should I use a plastic folder with rings and get some thick cardboard, stick the clips on that?

I have no idea!

There will be a lot of clips, at least 1 per day. I'll be keeping it for a while until it's pretty full then giving it to someone. How can I get a good amount of clippings in some kind of folder without it being hella chunky or falling apart?

thanks

My son is mad on Harry Potter - and has recently been given a 'Gringots savings book', by his grandmother.
For those who do not know, this was a coin collection run by Asda's - in 2001.

He only needs 9 more coins :-
Harry Potter, Rubeus Hagrid, The Dursleys, Professor Quirrell, Proffessor Flitwick, The Sorting Hat, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Goblin coins required for set.

If anyone has any information about this collection - please can you let me know.

My question is - does anyone know where I can get the rest of this collection (for a christmas gift) so my son can have the complete set???

I'm quite shy, and like things like reading, music and going on the computer. I quite like crafty things but I'm not very good at them, I always end up buying all the equipment and then just leaving it all in a cupboard.
I'm open to trying anything, and just wondered what kind of things there were.
I'm female, 25 yrs old and work full-time if that helps.

I want to do the "sand ceremony" with my fiance and son at our wedding Dec. 2 -- is there anywhere in Arizona, East Valley area, that sells colored sand for this, like in white/black/other colors? I'd like to get a vase also, for pouring it into and displaying it -- could I find this stuff at a craft store maybe?
