are there any type of things out there to cut shapes out of 2mm thick foam sheets??

i have to cut several different shapes out of foam sheet for a craft project and tracing the outline and cutting them with scissors will take way too long.

A Sizzix die cutting machine cuts foam beautifully. If these are simple shapes,you may be able to find dies in those shapes and perhaps"rent" the use of a die cutting machine at a scrapbooking store. They will usually allow you to use their machine if you purchase some sheets of scrapbook paper.

It seems to me that scissors would be best, but you might try using an Xacto knife, although I think it would drag the foam as you try to cut it. Good luck.
