what groups of numbers/combos work? i've devised a new system:

0,00,1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10,11
12,13,14,15,16,23,24
25,26,27,28,29,30,31,35

This leaves open:

19,18,31,17,5,22,6,9,32

Hit = +35/1 + 1 on table. Miss = -26

I moved to Las Vegas at the end of July with a roomate . I am unemployed and I came here with $46000 cash and no debts and an old car. I promised myself that I soon I came here that I was going to look for a job and start working. Well, since Ive come here Ive been taking frequent trips to the casinos and I have won close to $5000 in less than a month playing blackjack. I am getting real lazy in looking for a job because of the fast money that Im making. Im kind of scared because Im not sure if Im going in the wrong direction and Im not really hooked to gambling but I just love the easy money and its so convenient. You can set your own hours and be your own boss. There are no managers or supervisors to report to and all the money is tax free. Is gambling a career that I could pursue ?

from what i can tell its really just luck of the card if u get to aces then ur all gud its just the cards at the end of the day so how can people be pro at it ???????????

Let's assume that if you take the payments, the jackpot is $200 million paid over 30 years, and if you take lump sum, you get $100 million up front.

Also, you are not going to kick the bucket until after the payments are done (if you choose that option)

In computerized games of Texas Hold'em, what determines when a hand wins. What I mean is, if I had a 6 and a 5 in my hand, and there was a 5 on the table, and someone else had a 4 and a 5 in their hand, why would my 6 play and enable me to win? Other times, my other card plays and I win, but sometimes it doesn't. Can anyone tell me why?

Do you have to report your earnings from playing poker online to the IRS on your taxes?

If so, is there a designated amount that doesn't need to be reported - and everything above that does?

If it matters by state - I am curious about California.

Also, the way the monies are received from the poker site are via check.

Hia, does anyone know when the blinds increment in a WSOP poker tournament, is it each time the small blind is past to the next person, each time the small blind returns to the first person with the small blind, or do they increment after a pre-defined period of time?

I have received a mail stating therein that I won some amount in a lotto lottery and that this was done through computer balloting system and I was one of the top 5 winners. They never ask for any amount only that in claiming it I have send through western union a specified amount as courier charges. The courier was fastway courier. Has anyone encountered this kind of thing? I am very much excited but at the back of my mind I am still thinking if this is just a scam or their are just people fooling me. please help me I don't have enough money to pay for the charges but if this is for real then i am willing to look for some means to facilitate my winnings.

Me: KQ offsuit, next to villain
Villain: UTG

Villain limps in from UTG. I'm desperately low on chips and near the bubble so I call. Thankfully, we get about 5 calls afterwards and no bets. Flop comes down nicely:

Villain puts in one BB bet (about $120 at this point) I raise it to $360. Everyone folds around to the villain who calls.

Turn: Kd

Villain checks. At this point I'm thinking maybe a KJ slowplay, but more likely K-trash. AK is ruled out because he only limped in from UTG, so let's find out if he has KJ. I raise to $480 this time and again I get called. Both villain and I are down to about $900 chips and the pot is about $2000.

River: 2c

No flush draw and and the only hands I can imagine being in this hand that have me beat are KJ or 77 (JJ and AK would have raised from UTG, I figure), so when I'm pushed all in, I take my chances and call to see...

ok, so every year around this time i go to old orchard beach, maine and on the pier there is an old arcade, and every year i find myself broke 3 days in so i said "this year im gonna find some of those fake quarters (Tokens) that will fit in those machines so i can feed myself in university", so if anyone could find a reliable dealer that will sell cheap tokens (if they work) it would be greatly appreciated
