Hmmm... I would ask the security guards by the doors as you enter. I think it should be ok, but you just want to make sure you don't annoy other gamblers (by getting them in your photos) or get yourselves thrown out.

Every casino I have ever been in has a strict policy against photo taking. Casinos used to just be protective of their patrons' privacy, but nowadays they can't take the chance that someone has figured out a way to beat the system. Even though you only want to take a photo, they'll be dead set against it.

Last Christmas, I took a foreign friend to a shopping mall. Of course, he wanted to take some fotos of the Christmas tree. Within 15 seconds, a security guard was coming at us full speed demanding to know if we had a "permit" to take photos. This is what the world has degenerated into.

I come from Chicago, and about the most common thing was to take photos in Marshall Fields at Christmas. Everyone wanted a photo by the Oak Room or the Christmas tree.

Your only chance is to ask the security people to take the photo for you. Even then, they may decline. It could only cause them trouble. There's nothing in it for them.

Ask the cashier. They'll know. But I was in Vegas and they let me take as many as I pleased. So, if it's golden in Vegas, why not in BC?
