Will .984 tokens work in an arcade game?

ok, so every year around this time i go to old orchard beach, maine and on the pier there is an old arcade, and every year i find myself broke 3 days in so i said "this year im gonna find some of those fake quarters (Tokens) that will fit in those machines so i can feed myself in university", so if anyone could find a reliable dealer that will sell cheap tokens (if they work) it would be greatly appreciated

If the arcade game has a quarter mechanism then you will need a suitable fake to fool it. The stats for a quarter are:
24.26 mm in diameter
1.75 mm thick
5.7 grams in weight

The .984 token is close but will not work in the Mech.
