They have asked for money to transfer funds, is this legitamate?

if u didnt join anything, then ur not supposed to win anything.

and if u received notice thru email, most likely its fraudulent.

i receive such emails regularly so dont be fooled. they say they are lotteries from the UK, south africa, etc.

No, it's illegal to play lotteries in another country. Besides, how could you win if you didn't play? This is an old scam.

NO!!! Do not, under any circumstances, send them any information!! It is a scam. Set them up as SPAM and delete the email. Don't even think about answering the email.
