Plus how many times did you go around the board before you cashed in? (and how long did it take you?)

I was in my middle school chess club and the chess coach brought in a game and one of the problems I was stuck at was how to place the least amount of knights on a board so that all of the squares are either occupied or threatened. The hints were that it has rotational symmetry but not line symmetry and that it takes 12 knights. Could anyone please post their thoughts about this whether it is right or wrong to help me get an idea so I can try myself.

I am decorating a model home and I want to use a Chess Set to decorate a rec room table. In your opinion, should the chess pieces be set so as to look like there is a game in progress or a not. (All pieces in their original position)

I am rated around 1600 on Internet chess sites , yet I feel have not found a perfect style for me , I do not mind to defend but I love to attack more , but what I find what gets me in trouble is I think my attack is strong when in fact it can be defended against. Then I get in real trouble when the other player launches a counteratack . So my question is who should I study to improve my chess , http://users.ez-net.com/~mephisto/How%20to%20Develop%20a%20Opening%20Repertoire.html this webpage suggests Alekhine if you prefer an attacking style , and are rated 1400 - 1700. Any ideas ? Thanks a lot

The ones where you actually throw dice or spin a wheel. They use to be fun --- I think. Most questions I see under board games are about computer games, so I just wondered. :)

Basically you are looking at seven races (human, dwarf, elf, half-elf, half-orc, halfling, and gnome) listed as the most prolific in a generic D&D world. Most are nice, but some should be eliminated . . . .

I have to create a board game for my biology 11 class. It can either be about ecology or evolution. Any ideas at all would be great because I have no idea where to start.

If Hasbro were to offer online MONOPOLY where you could play and chat online to people all over the world would you be interested.

There could be weekly tournaments with an entry fee and cash prizes for winners and runners up.
