Ever heard of "Snorta" - an "Out of the Box" creation. It's got a real simple premise and sounds like it's going to be easy. But it gets confusing very soon and the mistakes are totally hilarious. If you've got some stick in the mud friends who don't smile much they can ruin this game, but the average person, looking to have fun, would really enjoy it. I've played it with people of many ages and we usually end up laughing so hard it hurts.

The best board game to get would be either deal or no deal (which is really fun) or Countdown which is class these will provide you with hours of fun. If you dont want either of these go to www.boardgamecompany.co.uk It has lots of board games on it pick one you like and buy it online.. or alternitavely go to a shop and buy the one you seen online..

Ask yourself: a) how many people will I be playing with, b) how much time do I want to spend playing one game and c) what kind of game do I find interesting. Now browse around www.boardgamegeek.com and see what the highest rated games are that meet your criteria. Games can be stimulating or a stupifying bore. I know this because I have two thousand of them.

For something unusual to play with a group of friends (and your parents, if you are so inclined), I'd suggest Wits & Wagers (you can find it at Target).
Other good, but unusual games are Carcassonne, Rumis, Blokus, and Mystery of the Abbey (especially if you like clue).

Rumis and Blokus can be found at Target and other stores. Carcassonne and Mystery of the Abbey can be found at online stores such as GameSurplus, ThoughtHammer, and FunAgainGames.
