If so what type? I would like to make more soups during the winter season. Would a juicer cut prep time in that regard? Thanks.

I love avocados, and lately, I've been eating one a day. I usually just cut one up and eat it with a sandwich as a side, instead of fries or chips or whatever. And I usually just squirt some lime on there. Great. But what are the benefits of it? And should I stick to one a day, or is it OK to have like...two, or three, or four?

My favourite night is Christmas Eve. We all get together at moms and have an amazing fish-fest! LOL Boiled, fried, smoked, crab, lobster, shrimp...you name it..and all served with wonderful home jarred/pickled/roasted vegetables from the garden, like eggplant, olives, red peppers, green beans fruits, nuts and dessert! Oh and pasta with calamari too. Yum.

I like a good turkey dinner but I really look forward to that fish-fest. We only do that once a year. Everything is in bite size portions to make sure everyone gets to sample everything! Love it.

Afterwards we open presents, have some coffee and dessert and bon-bons of the season.

We (kids and us) however open presents Christmas morning and we have turkey.

Just wondered if you have any special or traditional foods you eat for the holidays!

Merry Christmas!

I just spoke to someone from Canada Post on the phone about sending packaged food to the USA from Canada and she said I am not allowed to send ANY kind of food to the States at all. This sounds like a big fat lie. What do you guys think?

I made a nice roast in the crock-pot Tuesday and my family barely ate any of it. Can I freeze the left overs for another meal? It just has meat, taters, carrots in it with some cream of mushroom soup..And if so how long can I freeze it up too?

It hurts my teeth! It's good and very weird/interesting, but it's too hard to chew and I have really healthy teeth and everything.
Did it hurt your teeth? Maybe I got a stale batch? It doesn't taste stale.
Anyone else?

I made ranch pretzels (popcorn oil, dry ranch mix and lemon pepper poured over pretzels). I'm supposed to mix it twice a day for two days.

I assumed I could leave it out but my mom says I need to refrigerate it or it will go bad. Who is right?

Like gordon ramsey who is really a nice decent guy in real life, is a psycho running a kitchen. It seems to be the norm, my wife says it is because they are hot. But i have been hot plenty of times and have not gone mad. Anyone know?

Dinner is a big deal but what about breakfast. Do you have something to munch on while the kids are opening presents? Do you wait till it's all over and if so-how do you keep them at the table and not racing the remote control car. I have traditionally made some kind of sweet cake that doesn't necessarily require a fork but this year I am baking a cheese bread braid which won't be quite as messy. Any other ideas?

I am really liking sushi all of the sudden. :-)
I'm a vegetarian and it's a great way to get protein and Omega 3 fatty acids. For those of you who are well-versed with this power food, what types are your favorites? What would you recommend for a vegetarian to eat? Are there certain things I should look for to make sure that it's really fresh? (I know that can sometimes be an issue if buying it from a store). What types of sauces/liquids do you like to dip yours in?
Any other tidbits of information are greatly appreciated!
**Merry Christmas!**
