I made ranch pretzels (popcorn oil, dry ranch mix and lemon pepper poured over pretzels). I'm supposed to mix it twice a day for two days.

I assumed I could leave it out but my mom says I need to refrigerate it or it will go bad. Who is right?

If the ranch mix has any powdered milk in it, I'd refrigerate just to be on the safe side. It probably won't go rancid in two days but there's always a chance.

No. These are all things that can be kept out of the fridge. If your storing it in a plastic bag, try putting a folded paper towel in the bag to catch any excess oil. Good luck.

get on the web and find out in cookery . usually its only things with cream or meat that needs refrigerating . something like you have made i would keep airtight as a fridge might make it soggy

The ranch mix contains dry milk products.. if you don't refridgerate it - use at your own risk.

you can leave it out. just put it in an air tight container. avoid exposing it to moisure or it'll go bad. and it will last you probably about a couple of days to a week so you guys better consume it soon.

I think you should listen to your mom. Your mom told you to refrigerate it because she knows you need to refrigerate it. If she's not sure if you should refrigerate it, she'll tell you she's not sure about it.

No, the ranch dressing is a dry mix, so no refrig. needed, as for oil, that doesn't need to be refrig. either.
