How do the two worlds come together? Is there any aspect of math in the food world aside from converting measurements?

I bought it on Sunday, meaning to make pasta sauce. It has been thawed and in the fridge since then. It is now Thursday. Will it still be okay?
(The tag says to sell by December 18th. I hate to waste it by throwing it away if I don't have to. This has been a crazy, busy week!)

I looked at the reviews for several dicers on Amazon.com; The Nicer Dicer, The Vidalia Chop Wizard, Black and Decker Chopper, Bonzai Food Dicer, and few others. Prices vary.

I want a chopper that won't bend or break when chopping onions or potatoes. I don't mind paying a little extra for one that will last. I have a food processor but it's bulky and uses electricity. I just want something simple to use and simple to store. Any ideas?

I love to eat pie. So warm and gooey. Pie is so tasty but it can be very messy too. Sometimes I like to stick my fingers in first and lick off the sticky goodness.

Yesterday I was craving chinese food for dinner all day. And not just any chinese food, I was craving wonton soup and peanut chicken. My question is where exactly do cravings come from, and do you notice that when you crave something you can almost actually taste it? I mean does your brain think you're already eating this thing and starts producing a taste from you memory or something. Please someone tell me the answer! :-D Thank you in advance.

When I was younger my nan used to have mints - that I thought were called Trebour Mints. They were in a similar packets to Polo's, but they had no hole. They were not extra strong. No one seems to remember them.
Can anyone help

It's the eternal Christmas joke; oh god, fruit cake! Gag! Yet they crank it out by the truck load every year so obviously SOMEBODY likes it. Is it just considered 'cool' to fuss about the stuff. Come on, fess up! You secretly like it, don't you?

I'm from Chicago. People here prefer the Chicago style dog: mustard, onion, neon green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices, sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt on a poppy seed bun. And no ketchup.

My favorite is a hot dogs with just mustard only. I like ketchup but I've never had it on a hot dog.

How do you dress your hot dog?
