I love avocados, and lately, I've been eating one a day. I usually just cut one up and eat it with a sandwich as a side, instead of fries or chips or whatever. And I usually just squirt some lime on there. Great. But what are the benefits of it? And should I stick to one a day, or is it OK to have like...two, or three, or four?

Avocado is actually very good for you and doesn't have a lot of fat. It only has about 35 grams of fat. Eating one a day may be a little too much but perhaps half a day would be good =]

Avocados are VERY good for you....full of vitamins, healthy fat, and even fiber!
With that said, each avocado is 300 calories, and that is a lot for a fruit/veg. You should probably eat only one a day. They are good, but VERY fattening.

Avocados are about 80% pure FAT. You want to end up the size of a horse with heart problems, you go right ahead.

I don't know if they keep the Dr. away, but they sure are yummy.
If you smother it in mayo then of cours they'll be full of fat. Put in in a nice green leaf salad, or on your sandwhich.
