I ordered some pizza and icecream this evening but the ice cream had shards of ice throughout it. I think that meant the ice cream has defrosted and has then been re-frozen. i also think re-frozen ice cream can cause salmonella poisoning.

Am I right?

By the way I have called the restaurant and they are providing a replacement, but i just wanted to know.

ok I know this is gonna sound stupid but me & the missus r arguing over the definition of a "round of sandwiches"!!! :))

I believe this to mean one sandwich ie two bits of bread and a filling, my gf believes it means one slice of bread and a filling ie half a sandwich.

Does anyone out there know which of us is right? (I'm sure it's gotta be me!)

It boggles my mind how people freak out when they hear snow is coming and they run to the grocery store / convenience store for MILK & BREAD!!!! The isles look as if savages raided them with ripped opened bags of bread on the floor. What the hell is this?

I live in the same area these nervous morons do and they are not going to be trapped from ONE snow storm. Furthermore, they are just buying MILK & BREAD!!!! Is this some kind of special diet when it snows? I just don't get it - why just MILK & BREAD? What if they have pets - is it MILK & BREAD for the animals too?

In my city, we have Persians - a cinnamon bun covered with strawberry icing. You can eat them as they are, or slice them in half and grill them (called a Toasted Persian, even if you don't actually put it in the toaster). Visitors to our city often buy them to bring home, or have friends and family send them by mail.
