It all depends on what diet you believe in. I don't eat carbs. I eat all the crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp I want dipped in butter as long as it's not fried with breading on it. If you view it that way and you ate it with just butter, you did well. I don't count fat grams or calories and I have lost and maintained my weight. I'm jealous, though, that you got to gorge yourself on all that great stuff. =)

By themselves they are healthy. Butter and cream sauces will make the dish fattening. And why would anyone dream of eating any of those without butters and cream sauces???

Only the sauces that go with it are like the melted butter! But oh so good!

High in cholesterol and fat if you dipped it in butter. Shrimp I believe is already high in cholesterol.

If they were fried or had rich sauces on them. By themselves they're mostly protein.
