I wouldn't want a whole tummy full (it's slightly acidic) but a couple bites can't hurt as long as it's clean snow(I'm still here). You can make snow cones really easily- just get a cup full of fresh snow, and pour some maraschino cherry juice on it (fruit punch or any flavorful juice will work great).

Another favorite is "Sugar on Snow" but needs some adult supervision: You take a cup of maple syrup and heat it in a microwave safe cup and then you can take it outside and pour over some fresh snow. The syrup hardens up like taffy and makes a Delicious mess.

Make snow ice cream Get a large dishpan full of clean snow. Like off the top of the car is where we got ours. Add a couple of teaspoons of vanilla, 1 can of evaporated milk and I'd start with 1 cup of sugar and stir it all up. Add more sugar if desired. You have to eat it all, as it will not keep or do to put in your freezer.

When I was a kid my mom used to boil down some maple syrup and pack a pan w/ clean snow, then dribble the syrup over it and we'd eat it with a spoon.

My mom used to make snow cream for us when we were kids. I don't remember how she did it, but it involved vanilla extract, egg yolks, and snow. She would add mashed bananas or cocoa if we wanted something besides plain vanilla. There may have been other ingredients, but I can't remember.
