I have about 2kg (4lb) of bananas at home and I need to make something out of them real soon cause it's going bad because I bought them on sale.Please help!

Turkey bacon is for those folks who love the taste of bacon but can't deal with the health effects.

If they can go that way, why can't they make bacon that tastes like turkey? There has to be some turkey lover with low cholesterol that would enjoy it.

I grew up in NY. These were made by Nabisco, came in a little brown box - chocolate cookies, or red box - chocolate chip cookies, had little animal faces on the front. Was always next to Barnum animal cookies (with the carry string). Do they still make these??? I would love to get some of the red box.

We are an Island nation, we have lots of coastline, we have a fishing heritage.

Yet in my experience fresh fish and shellfish cost so much more here than on the continent. Why is this?

I ask this because I bought some fresh King Scallops today and I almost choked at the pricetag.

There is a lot of hype out there about how bad coconut oil is for you. If you do believe it is bad for you, why? have you ever researched it for yourself? If you found out you were wrong and it really was healthy for you would you start using it?

has anyone noticed lately that bananas are really hard to peel open? For the past 2 months or so, the bananas I buy at the grocery store are really hard to open at the top. Sometimes I have to cut them with scissors and they get all mushy where I tried to snap the top back and forth. Anyone?

Where I grew up we called them Hoagies ( I was in the band and we sold them to raise money), and out here in LA they are called Subs. Other places, they are called Grinders. Is there really any difference, or are they all the same thing?
