Yes. Cephalapods: squid, octopus, cuttlefish, nautilus, etc. are mollusks just like oysters, clams, mussels and conch. the nautilus, which i have never heard of anyone eating, has an external snail-shaped shell. The octopus and squid, both of which I have been known to enjoy, have a vestigial shell inside the head.

Yes, squid is considered shellfish!
Shellfish is a popular term used to describe aquatic invertebrate animals (without a backbone) that are harvested. Many shellfish like clams, crabs and sea urchins have a hard outer shell, but there are also shellfish with shells reduced or even absent, such as squid, octopus and sea cucumbers. Bivalve molluscs means shellfish with two shells, such as clams, oysters, scallops, mussels and cockles.

Yes, it is. I think it has a "shell type" beak called a cuttlebone and therefore qualifies as shellfish for Kosher or other religious dietary laws.
It is classed biologically as a mollusk, just like clams and oysters are, and they are all considered shellfish.
