How long can a gallon of orange juice be unrefrigerated before it is unsafe to drink? Suppose you came home from the store and did not put your gallon of orange juice in the refrigerator for seven or eight hours. What should I do?

I'm talking about the kitchen appliance kind of hot water heater (the kind you use to heat water for tea, for instance), not the household appliance one.
It gets these buildups of white stuff along the bottom over time.
What is this stuff? Is it calcium deposits, or something from the local tap water? (I use Brita-filtered water, so I don't see why there should be deposits).
It's coming from somewhere, but I don't know where!
Is it safe?
Should I clean it out? How frequently?

I like to eat healthy, but I'm getting kind of bored with my eating plan. I would like to have a variety of food to chose from. What are some ideas?

~~~We made a seafood dish,,,alot of it!! now there is leftovers I would like to share with my co-workers. Shrimp, crab,cucumbers, green onion, and clamato juice. Serve with Tostitos scoops. We made it Satuday night, and there is so much leftover, I would like to bring it to work to share, but not quite sure if it is still a "safe" left over to serve. Would you serve this still to people you work with ? Do you think it is still safe to eat?,,,,it tastes soooooo good!
Burritos/wraps and salads, with mexican, south western, carribean, and asian flavors. DO NOT use the word Burrito in the name. What would be a good name?
I mean, mamey sapotes, quenepas (a.k.a. spanish limes), guavas, mangosteens, durian fruit, breadfruit, rose apples, etc. I know they sell both fresh and frozen fruit in Florida, but there are almost none of these fruits for sale here in San Diego, even though some can be grown here! I guess the demand isn't high enough for any profit. Do I have to go to Puerto Rico just to taste these?!?
