Eat 6 small meals a day so that you won't be hungry.
Maybe snack on carrots and celery.
If you are eating salads, make sure you go easy on the dressing which is actually the culprit with a lot of calories.
You may lose some weight, but if you end up bingeing on some unhealthy food after 2 weeks of veggie diet, then you may be worse off than where you started. Eat in moderation and exercise at least 3 times a week (with resistance training).

You'd probably end up needing to use the bathroom alot if you ate only veggies. You just need to eat a well balanced diet. Drink lots of water and start exercising regularly. Weight doesn't always come off fast, it can take some time.

You could try eating MOSTLY fruits and veggies, but if you're not getting a bit of protein and carbs, you'll get sick pretty fast.
I'd suggest eating a LOT of fruits & veggies, but also some LEAN protein (like skinless chicken breast, or a lean cut of pork or fish or whatever you like) and some nuts (they have fat in them, but it's HEALTHY oils and they're full of protein and good sutff!)
And if you want to cut down the carbs a bit, fine, but be smart about it. Don't cut them out completely, but do use only whole grains and if you really want to watch your weight, eat your carbs in the MORNING, that way they give you energy to get through the day, they keep you full (so you're not tempted to snack all the time) AND by the end of the day you've burned them off.
My friends and I have almost all used this method, and it WORKS!

Your best bet is to look up Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating, and keep careful track of EVERYTHING you eat. Go easy on high-fat dressings and sauces, and cut out putting any salt on your food. Eat EXACTLY according to Canada's Food Guide for your age. That's all you can do for eating. NEVER limit yourself to only one food group, because it could have disastrous effects on your weight and general health.
Also, perform rigorous exercises every day for around one hour. Start with a 20 minute warm up, including stretching and some cardiovascular exercises like jumping jacks or jogging, to get your body ready to exercises and maximize your workout time. Move on to about half an hour of exercises like push ups or low-weight lifting and anything else to challenge your body. Finish with ten minutes of stretching to prevent your muscles from tightening.
If losing this weight is so important to you, you'll have to do it right or it will just come right back. Chances are you are perfect just the way you are, but check your body mass index on this website: http://www.consumer.gov/weightloss/index.htm, and then check to see if you are actually overweight for your height and age.

Yeah, you'll lose it all in the toilet, and you'll gain it all back and then some as soon as you stop. The safest and most effective way to lose weight is to eat a well-balanced diet and exercise. In the meantime, buy a girdle. Good luck!!
