After we have been out of town and return home to get some nice ice and water out of the kind of fridge that dispenses it, it tastes funny. Of course, the first thing is to check the filter, which is fine (we bought the fridge brand new like a month ago, it's a Kenmore). Then after a few glasses, it is fine again. Is it because the water sits in the tube or something or...? just curious. thanks

Is there a way to store fruit so it lasts longer than a couple days. I've have tried both in and out of the refrigerator with fruit going bad after 3-4 days sometimes quicker than that.
The fruits I'm talking about currently are strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and grapes. Although, apples and oranges don't last to long either.

UGH! I mean whats the big secret? Do the manufacturers WANT you to eat expired food? Why can't they just put the date on thier product so we can read the darn thing? NOOOOOOOO instead they put it in a 18 letter/number long code so you don't have a stinkin clue. They could save probably hundreds of dollars a year by not wasting that ink!
