Answers from persons not of Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese cultures, please.

This is for a part of a project about cross-cultural exploration. It is natural to people of a culture how to eat every dish in their own cuisine. However, what is natural to them may not always be intuitive to people of other cultures who are used to different utensils and protocols. Has there been such a dish in your experience?

Please list all relevant dishes.

They recently came up with a study that chinese food is bad for you, will this make you stop eating it? I eat chinese at least once a week and in fact I'm heading to the local chinese buffet tonight.

I recently had udon noodles for the first time ever. (Don't ask me how I ever missed it.)

It was in a Japanese restaurant in an American city. It did not look overly Americanized, as it came in a decently sized bowl with a spoon. Are you supposed to eat the noodles with your chopsticks? Do you spoon them out? Put them in the spoon with your chopsticks? Does it matter?

I ate it with my chopsticks because I was too hungry to wait for the soup to cool down, then drank the soup later.
