Do a search on YAHOOGROUPS, there are lots of them. Specialized yahoogroups too (marathi, konkani, parsi, andhra cuisines...)

There is an indian cuisine and culture group on yahoo..they will at least try to answer all your questions.

you can ask me my mom is an excellent cook and she cooks all indian foods she even caters for other people some times
