Chicken with broccoli has been your favorite dish from this place for years. Then one day you read in the paper that the health department has shut them down because they found cat meat in their freezers. You've been eating it for years, and could never understand why the chicken they used didnt look like the chicken you use in your kitchen. What to do?
(Lol- is a valid response in my book!)

My husband is Persian. I am not, but I love the food my mother-in-law makes. I'm a good cook but the recipes look so difficult. Is there a website that is easy to get recipes off of? My favorite is the eggplant stew. Actually, I pretty much love everything.

What's the nutrition angle?

I'm making spaghetti for dinner tommorrow. I'll be using a slower cooker. I already put mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, onions, celery (sliced very small), and grated carrot in my sauce. I also put in, garlic powder, italian seasoning and parsley.
Any other suggestions for other vegetables I can put in my sauce?
