Thai food?!?! I HATE IT. I'm glad you didn't really throw away much of your mum's effort. Even if it was burnt, you're lucky to have your mum cook for you.

Maybe you would like it if you tried it somewhere else instead of eating it burned! Any food tastes bad that way! But I will tell you that I am not a big fan of Thai food either, but for a different reason. Because of its appearance I am always expecting it to taste like Chinese food so every bite is like a surprise! I know that sounds weird, but it seems like my taste buds are so well trained on Chinese food that is hard for them to experience something new...haha!!

Sounds like you hate her cooking not Thai food.

Thai food is great because of all the different flavors.
I understand it may be a bit much for people that are used to a bland, boring food. McD's for them. More Thai food for me! :-)

If you are getting it burnt you are not experiencing the true joy of eating Thai food, anything burnt will taste horrible.

Yes, I also don't like it: too many flavours in every dish. And I am not keen on peanuts, coriander, mint and coconut - not the way they are used in Thai food, anyway.

My whole family does. My sister once got these gross noodles and she later ended up vomiting. I didn't have any just by the smell. My mom says it's so fattening, its thigh food.
