Is it golden syrup or black treacle? What would you use?

Hi its called molasses, you can buy it it like brown sugar but stronger. But I do know there is molasses in Black Treacle, so maybe ths is what you are after. If you were going to make something and molasses is in the ingredient then I would go and get molasses, If you are making bonfire toffee then its best to use treacle and brown sugar and not use mollasses it doenst takes right with molasses.

All molasses is liquid, molasses sugar is just sugar with molasses added. Go to your nearest grocery store and get a bottle of molasses.

Well, Golden Syrup is a brand name.
Black Treacle, or just Treacle, we used to call it that in Scotland.
But I would probably just call it Syrup.

Although, most people here don't use it. It's not a big thing here.
